Unlocked iPhone 4S will start selling in the US soon. Buying on eBay looks delicious. The question arose: how to minimize the headache? I live in Kursk, but it is possible to order to a Moscow address. The thought occurred to me that it would reach the capital faster + the probability that an expensive device would be stolen in a county town is higher than in a more ~~civilized~~ , taught Moscow. Does this thought have a right to exist?

The thought is of course correct, but here's what's strange - before ordering an iphone, you already think where the probability of theft is higher, that is, theoretically, you are already set up that it will be stolen from you? :)
With such gloomy thoughts, it may be better to minimize the headache and eliminate the loss of money by refusing to buy such a device? :)

If the delivery service at the entrance to Russia turns into an EMC, then the chances of a loss in both Moscow and Kursk are equalized. If the parcel successfully passes customs and the sorting point, then everything should be ok. But in any case, you must not be stingy and always insure.
I can't stand EMS, they constantly break the promised deadlines, but they have never lost a parcel after being handed over for delivery. As a rule, 90% of problematic cases occur at customs and sorting of foreign goods.

Thought has the right to exist, yes.
But it has nothing to do with reality, unfortunately.
The iPhone is one of the most stolen investments, as far as I know. ebay-forum to help
