Spoken English is learned by speaking.
Books will develop reading skills and possibly vocabulary, and this will not help you train your brain to hear the sounds of English speech and recognize them into words, adapting to different pronunciation accents and intonations instantly.
Look for at least videos.
Better yet, communication.
