Methods of learning English from me:
Premium access to Leo is an optional thing, they also have a free option, but there the size of the dictionary, in my opinion, is severely limited. Therefore, I recommend evaluating the service and, if you like it, take a premium for a year. At the time of writing this article, it costs 1300 rubles / year.
Any language, even Russian, even English, is very interesting ... There are approximately 1500 - 2000 words that we use most often when talking on any topic. It turns out that having learned the TOP 1000 most frequently used words, you can understand 50-60% of the meaning of the message. In my case it was like this. Before that, without Google Translate, I couldn’t understand anything at all.
In terms of grammar, Leo has two courses - the first - "Grammar courses" - comes with premium status, the second - "Grammar for Beginners" - is bought for separate money. In principle, to start you need to complete the first 10 lessons from the standard course. The second one can, in principle, be bought, it is simpler, there are more examples. Their main difference is that the standard course explains everything in academic language, i.e. "Rule => 10 examples to reinforce." Second optional: "10 examples => rule description".
We learn grammar in parallel with the study of the dictionary, of course.
After your intensive course of 1.5 months, you need to either start communicating in English, watch Game of Thrones without Russian translation, or read books in the original in English. Remember how we learned Russian at school? There is a teacher of Russian language and literature. We learn language constructions and see how they are used in the books of our writers. Why not apply the same when learning a 2nd language?
