Where is it good to relax until the end of summer in the Sochi region?
I decided to go on vacation somewhere within Russia (initially I planned not to Russia, but there were troubles with my passport), I chose Sochi. I climbed the sites, found a bunch of all sorts of hotels, resorts, I don’t even know what to choose. Actually, who has the experience of relaxing in Sochi, where is it better to stay to relax? Requirements are: close to the sea, sandy beach, double room and not too expensive. It is desirable that the place was not too noisy, fewer people, ideally, that there were no people at all (I will sit working with a laptop so that no one interferes). Entertainment is not interested, only the beach.
PS I know that it’s not quite on the subject of habr, but I trust IT people more :)

Summer. In Sochi. No people. It's fantastic.
And if anyone knows such a place, write to the author in a personal, otherwise there will be no such place.
And on the subject. Look towards Abkhazia (Pitsunda) and the beach is sandy and there are fewer people than in Sochi. And if the pebble beach doesn’t scare you (you can buy special slippers and walk calmly), then there are places without people within walking distance (~ 30 minutes at a slow pace).
In general, high-quality and inexpensive is not about our service.
A year ago, my wife and I went to Abkhazia for 10 days. A decent double room with a shower and an air conditioner in the Aibga hotel cost about 40 k. There are no complaints about the staff. I broke their souls, they didn’t even try to steal money. Feeding is normal.
But compared to Egypt and Turkey for the same money, the difference is not in favor of our holiday.
Sochi is not rolling, especially in view of the upcoming Olympics ... prices are inflated at times, they say correctly, go to the Crimea, get a lot more fun and spend less money.
in Greece (now there are very low prices), trust the experience, and if you want to have a cheap and good rest, then go to the Crimea, to some urban-type settlement. Last year we rented a kopeck piece with a good repair, with air conditioning, huge TV sets in every room and in the kitchen, with the Internet ~ 1300r / day, in the Crimea you will get much more pleasure! Next year we plan to buy a minivan and go in droves to the Crimea. And you don’t need a passport for Ukraine either, and you can carry as much as you want with you. What about Crimean wines? no, I highly recommend going to the Crimea, if you want - there are contacts for apartments.
I definitely recommend Anna.
Sochi , by the way, is a bit offtopic… face1980.livejournal.com/ Prison tourism
You won't like swimming among corpses. The biological situation in the area is very unfavorable. A familiar physicist was going to go to Praskoveevka, which is a kilometer from the famous dacha of the Pzhiv leader, did not dare, although this is a twenty-year tradition ...
And if you are not afraid of anything, I advise you not to Sochi, not Gelendzhik, but Divnomorskoye, a wonderful place, hotels are only 3K per day, in short, feel all the charm of the resort rip off and then go to Ukraine or at least to Greece.
Yes, it is better to Ukraine, for example, the Black Sea.
If only in Russia, then I advise the village of Durso, near Novorossiysk, the sea is clean, there are few people, at 10 o'clock in the afternoon you can safely lie down right by the sea.
Only on weekends do locals come by car to swim in clean water, but everything is civilized, dry closets, camping, etc. But of course there is no entertainment, yes. But the champagne factory is nearby))
a sandy beach is either in Anapa (the best beaches are - the farther north from the city, the better) or in the Crimea, where a foreigner is also not needed. I like Crimea much more, the nature there is superb.
In Sochi
a) there are no natural sandy beaches, there are only a few artificial artificial ones
b) it is extremely dirty
c) there are continuous traffic jams
and this is probably not all the minuses
Author, is it better to do something with a passport? I think services for its accelerated recovery will be cheaper than overpayment at local resorts.
