Does SEO take a lot of time for single sites?

I just don't really believe that SEO itself can take a huge amount of time. If the site is just an Internet directory itself is already configured. If Google and Yandex were not updated.

Strongly depends on the initial neglect of the project. In fact, search engines change, SEO too, and hence it follows that work on the site should be ongoing. The main thing is content, images, headings, links and more. This is what takes the most time.
