Where do you keep backups of your PC?

Hello.
I made monthly backups of my PC to an external HDD. A week ago, he fell from a height of 20 cm and died. It turns out that an external HDD is a very vulnerable and unreliable thing for such purposes.
In connection with this question.
Where is the best place to store backups of PC files (photos, music, movies, work files)?
Maybe you should buy several external HDDs to minimize the risks?
Or is it better to use cloud storage like Dropbox? If so, what about security?

Home PC - backups on a home file server and in the cloud.
The backup goes to the file server quite often, and merges into the cloud much less often, and not everything is naturally encrypted before uploading.
Working PCs - everything depends on the tasks in different ways. But also in at least two places.
In addition, it is often not enough to have a backup; in many cases, you also need a well-developed recovery plan.
Why you need local and cloud backup options -
Local - the fastest access, everything is under your control, but since it is located next to the original data, there is a decent probability of simultaneous damage to the archive and data by one factor. For example - fire, flood, theft.
Cloud - very slow access, you depend on the conditions of the cloud provider, there is a possibility of data leakage, but a geographically remote backup that is not affected by local problems.

In the cloud
My photos don’t even get on the PC, I took a picture on the phone and it went to Yadisk (and then it’s already on the PC from Yadisk).
music is also all on the phone, VKontakte, or if it doesn’t take long to download something from the torrent.
why keep movies and even more so backup? This is just the most valuable thing you can lose.
working files on working servers from which the backup goes to the cloud.
so a laptop / PC is nothing more than a workstation with several softins in the current realities, everything is somehow spinning on the Internet.
Security should not be fucked up by yourself - binding to the phone / 2x factor authorization is everywhere.

Many years ago I discovered http://backblaze.com
unlimited backup of one computer for 5 bucks a month
+ there is a small versioning for the last dates.
In general, several times he saved me data that paid for him two lives in advance.
