Is there a free (or cheap) automatic way to sync files from Dropbox to Google Drive?

I currently have a Dropbox account and have been able to transfer all my folders to Google Drive via the Backup Box website with no problems. But if I want to have automatic synchronization between Dropbox and Google Drive in the future, then I have to pay $20/month on this site. Question - is there any service that could constantly synchronize changes from Dropbox to Google Drive and vice versa for free?

I liked CloudHQ . Not free, but only 5 bucks for full sync both ways. You can even edit documents from Google through Evernote.

Since you don't have a computer, try Otixo - it allows you to transfer files from GD <—> DB. I did not see automatic synchronization in it, but this is one of the few free services for working with clouds (limit - 2 GB per month, should be enough).

I am 95% sure that the answer to your question is: no, there is no such possibility at the moment. I myself did a big research on this topic a couple of months ago, because. I wanted to achieve exactly the same result as you. I found some highly non-free service that offered only one-way synchronization (I don’t remember in which direction).
But there is something that can somehow facilitate the search for a workaround. You wrote that “I can’t create a separate folder and put everything there, because there is a share folder created by someone on Dropbox that they both update.”
All share folders in Dropbox can be renamed and dragged anywhere, these changes will not be synchronized with other people with whom this folder is shared. Synchronized between people exclusivelythe content of this folder, and each “participant” can rename and drag the folder itself to personal taste where it is more convenient for him (within the Dropbox itself, of course).
The easiest way to synchronize Google Drive and Dropbox is to assign them the same folder for files in the settings (and you won't even need a symbolic link), but this requires at least a PC with these two clients.
It seems to me that the cheapest way is to buy mom some very old third-hand laptop for a hundred bucks, set it up in the way described above, and put it somewhere in the attic as a server for synchronization.
