Where did the convenient menu go in the Android Studio emulator?

Hello, dear programmers and not only!
Worked in Android Studio, tested programs on the emulator. It had a convenient feature in the form of a menu on the right (toolbar), but as soon as you clicked on the cross, it disappeared and no longer starts with the emulator. Already rummaged through all howto and manual's on AS, but there is no answer anywhere. The menu is called something like new toolbar and it has been provided in this form since the latest versions. The panel works stably only in version 2.0 RC. Apearance and Behavior > System settings > Update > Automatically check updates for > Beta channel (we set the possibility of upgrading to beta versions)
