Where did spam calls go?
Used an android smartphone. No rooting, customization, applications only from the Play Market (including purchased versions). And for about a year, spam calls have been pestering: beep and hangup, ringing, some autoinformers, and other crap that everyone has come across. It is clear that the Google dialer courageously stopped all this, every day several rejected spam calls in the call log.
Recently, due to circumstances, I switched to a push-button dialer and ... the flow of spam just stupidly stopped - no left calls, although, of course, there is no spam filter in the push-button firefly. Completely unexpected effect for me.
With what it can be connected?

You describe as if you had a tracker application constantly writing call me. Apparently there is no such thing on the button
