Where can you work or earn extra money if you are a 1st year student and have good C/C++ programming skills?

Salary is not important, I would like to get useful experience and combine it with study

Choose a suitable open source project for yourself and participate. And you benefit, and the people ;-)

And please don't flatter yourself, you don't have good C/C++ skills.

They hire those who can do the job, and not learn how to do it. I suspect that your programming skills are clearly not enough for you to do the work yourself, and it’s a mess in your head about the fact that somewhere there is a cool job where you get a lot of experience, in addition, maybe they also pay.
Such work does not exist for the basic level, but for medium and highly qualified personnel, when they do things that are few or not yet in the world - in parallel, gaining experience and new skills.
For beginners, the work is usually basic, and those who want to earn more than that, in order to take from the applicants someone who already knows everything.

for now, start with open source and at the same time look for work in linkedin and hh.ru
