Where can I use an old 64Gb SSD?

I put a 500Gb SSD on my laptop for a long time and have been happy about it for a long time. But then, at my leisure, I remembered the old solid state. Now I'm scratching my head, where can I use the old 64Gb SSD? It has been lying around for four years, how much in vain!
I don’t see the point of plugging into a laptop through an adapter.
There don't seem to be many options. Use disk:

  • Only under the system (but under a big question)
  • Under the caches of browsers, programs, swap.
  • For some programs / games (doubtful)
  • ...

It would be interesting to hear ideas on this. And probably not just me. Surely, many people still have old SSDs with a capacity of 32-64Gb, which are now gathering dust without work!

I use both:
- advanced livecd - recovery/imaging/etc.
- a full-fledged boot in alternative (in the sense - different from the main one) systems, virtual machines are sometimes not enough.
