Where can I read recent articles about the initial setup of vim?

With wim, as with other geeky centenarians such as slack, gentoo, emax, the situation has developed that its users have been using it for a long time, and they don’t need new ones. All manuals are old, plugins are described everywhere old. Only those who keep their finger on the pulse work with something useful and new, and for beginners who read the praises of this editor, it is not clear how it can be compared with Sublime, because it and its plugins are as old as mammoths. Where can I read the latest articles on setting up vim. I want to feel all its power, but it terribly infuriates when you start doing something according to the manuals, and in the end it turns out that the plugins are outdated, the lines in the config are designed for old versions and nothing will come of it.

In the hub of the same name, new plugins and all sorts of interesting and modern things are often discussed - habrahabr.ru/hub/vim
It is also useful to read other people's vimrc, sometimes people post them online, sometimes even with detailed comments
