Where can I get system administrator certificates?
Good day, comrades!) I decided to ask myself: what certificates can be useful to a system administrator and where can I get them? They say that they do not help much with the device, I know that. But the task is this: to collect certificates and brag to the authorities (which is not boom-boom in IT) and ask for a raise, if it doesn’t work, then we’ll go to another employer. Ps do not kick much, the admin is the second year))

"Pick up" and "certificates" personally I somehow do not beat.
If you want more than just a piece of paper - pass it to CCNA, this is a quite realistically quoted certificate. As you prepare, you will learn a lot. MS has a lot of useful certifications. The same MS SQL is an interesting thing. SSIS and SSRS are in such high demand on UPWORK.
Management, of course, can be "no boom-boom in IT", but how much it can realistically assess your usefulness for business even without certificates. So, in my opinion, it's better to do something really useful / significant for the business - and show it to the authorities. So they will understand better.
It is better to brag about specific achievements, not certificates. For example, the fleet of server equipment has increased, it can be demonstrated that such and such growth over the year, everything went smoothly and smoothly. We introduced some useful service for management (limiting user traffic, blocking YouTubers, introducing a corporate portal, etc.) - we received a medal.
To get money, you have to do something useful for the one who pays it. Nafig they did not give up your certificate.
in general, as it were, the presence of certificates is not an argument for raising salaries. What's stopping you from just asking for a raise?
As one of the options, I can recommend online certification for system administrators at https://uprofs.ru
. The testing itself is free, if you want to send a "paper" certificate for an additional fee.
"Installing, configuring and administering Windows 10"
"Network administration based on Windows Server 2016"
"Installing, managing storage systems and ...
And what is the direction? Now there are so many specializations in administration that you need to presumably know what you are moving in.
If Linux then Certification RedHat
Linux Server Professional Cert
On networks: Cisco CCNA
On Windows I will not prompt. Was not interested.
