Where can I get SRAM memory from?

I want to use sram (not sdram) memory in my project, it would be nice to test work with a real microcircuit in advance, or even better find the right one, solder it and not buy it. Actually the question is - in what devices, nodes is it usually used / used, where can I look for it?

SRAM is used where there is a CPU, you need good performance, compactness and simplicity (+ you don’t need a lot of memory).
You can search in old game consoles / computers (GameBoy, NES)
You can also look in advanced music centers, players, printers ... In general, in relatively complex old devices. In modern ones, most likely DRAM will stand.
Look for many-legged microcircuits like these.

It is quite easy to find them:
- in expansion cards of old routers;
- in some old routers (2611, for example);
- in old CD-recorders;
- in old SFP modules;
- in old TVs "with teletext".
