Good afternoon!

Not so long ago I saw a whole library for creating a shadow for any object (even a photo), moreover, such as the symbols of Habr, Toaster, etc. (the examples even included code to create a copy of these logos).
Has anyone seen it/does anyone know how to create the same effect (shadow for a single letter/object)?
