Hello!
For my project, I need a mechanism or a ready-made device, with the selection of which there were problems. The essence of the problem is as follows:
We need a kind of lock, consisting of two parts. It should be closed through the physical action of the user, and opened using electronics, motors. The mechanism should be small, approximately the size of a regular flash drive.
So far, developments have been going in this vein - the same principle can be used in the mechanism as in ordinary padlocks, handcuffs, carbines, only the work that a person does to open will be done by a servo on a signal.
That is, there are 2 parts - a part with a mechanism and a 2 part (conditionally a key) in which a pin, a bow, with teeth, is pushed into the part with a mechanism.
The mechanism has a part with teeth, a spring and a servo - the spring pushes the part with teeth up, and the servo lowers it. The key can enter the mechanism, but it will be possible to pull it out if the servo lowers the part with the teeth down.
This is essentially the same principle used in handcuffs, only the safety is lowered by a servo rather than a key.

You can use a padlock for a bicycle, I thought about how the cigarette lighter is unlocked, but you need to open it only with electronics. The person must close it himself.

Ideally,you need a ready-made mechanism that is industrially produced and you can buy it, you only need it to be the size of a USB flash drive, closed by a person, opened at the signal of the microcontroller. Maybe there is a specialist, or a special resource where they will suggest a ready-made device that will not need to be produced independently?

It is not clear what this crap should lock?
Door?
Lid?
Connect 2 ropes?
Should it fold/open when unlocked?
Or during some time a person can open - did not have time / did not want to - after, say, 10 seconds, it is again locked?
And so - a hook and an electromagnet. The electromagnet pulled the hook - it opened.
Nothing more to say without details.

Поздновато я всунулся, но такой механизм есть в стиральных машинах (запираются нагревом биметалической пластины и из-за этого имеют инерцию на открывание, пока озладится пластина) и еще в промышленной автоматике используются для блокировки доступа к частям оборудования. Но в размер флэшки мне такие замки не попадались
