Is it possible to cross a mouse and a touchpad?

The point is this.
I pulled out a touchpad from an old dead laptop (as I understood after searching hundreds of literatures, it only works with ps / 2), there is also a mouse that works with ps / 2 and usb. I would like to drink some kind of hybrid.
Is it real?

Yes, you can, you poke the mouse into the usb touchpad in PS / 2.
Just keep in mind that the buttons will not work and if they are needed, you will have to cut the interface on which mega thread.
But here the main question - What for? :)

Apple Magic Mouse, let's just say: not the most comfortable mouse I've used. A mouse is a mouse for that, and a touchpad is also a touchpad in Africa, but together this layer cake does not make sense.
