Where can I find the kind of information security books I want?
Hello everyone, I recently read the book "Penetration Testing with Kali Linux" I really liked the book, I spent the whole day on it, unfortunately I read it very quickly, are there any more like it? The others are not interesting to me, they are old... I have been searching for a long time and have not found anything, I need to learn how to use Nmap FTPMap, etc. I just don’t know how yet, in general, I need to learn how to penetration test web applications. Please do not advise books that are 2005 - 2017, I'm just not interested in reading them ...
This question differs from others in that after looking through all the previous questions, I did not find a single book according to my preferences. Everyone was either old or just boring.
Added: it is also desirable to learn how to look for exploits after collecting data and use them correctly (I am just a little familiar with this, but it won’t hurt to read more)

IS books are a huge library on your topic. There are articles, and books, and everything your heart desires. I wouldn't be surprised if you found this book there.
Sobbing ... Maybe, as Ronald McDonald
says in such cases - go to the delivery service? Armor, even the coolest, does not make a Peisan a knight. The Kali distribution won't make a teapot a hacker.
In the technology of searching for vulnerabilities, nothing fundamental has changed since the days of Kevin Mitnick. And the main weapon here is the mosk .
First, learn how to use search engines, search for the necessary information. 75% of the work of an information security specialist is a search for something, somewhere, according to some criteria. Why did you decide that someone will work for you?
If you don't like the "old" books, you can always write your own. With blackjack and courtesans. Well, or at worst - with pictures, so that future generations would be interested in viewing them.
