Forgot VeraCrypt container password. How can I iterate over a dictionary?

I forgot the password for the cryptocontainer, which I haven’t opened for a long time, but there are suggestions what phrases I could use in the password and combination of characters, but there are a lot of them to sort through manually. How can you iterate through the dictionary so that combinations of words are in a different order? Are there any utilities? I also rummage a little in python, if there are any libraries for working with veracrypt, it would be nice. Thanks in advance for your reply!

If on Linux, then xdotool (imitation of keystrokes) + a simple bash script (brute force search or something like that).
