Where can I find out the dollar exchange rate when withdrawing money from Upwork to Paypal?
I usually withdraw to a Payoneer card - everything is clear there. $2 for withdrawal, $3.15 for cashing out, -3.8% of the rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation for withdrawal and exchange for rubles.
Recently I tried to withdraw to Paypal. $1 per withdrawal is understandable.
Tried a couple of times with a difference of a few weeks. The result was the same amount in dollars (~$70), approximately the same amount in rubles (~4200).
But due to the difference in the exchange rate of the ruble, it turns out that for the first time it turned out -7% of the exchange rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation. Second time - 3%.
Where can I find out the rate of paypal in advance? Converter on the site - only from rubles to dollars. No back.
And tech support is silent.

Verify paypal and the money will not be converted into rubles automatically, and then when manually converted, the paypal dollar rate will be visible
Why are you withdrawing to Paypal? I withdraw to Skrill, then to a dollar card/alfabank account. This results in minimal losses, only the Skrill commission is in the region of $ 3-5 per transfer. In Paypal, as far as I remember, the automatic conversion of bucks into rubles at their rate.
i did this
pikabu.ru/story/dlya_polzovateley_platezhnoy_siste...
no auto conversion.
it turns out more profitable than skrill - I pay only $ 1 for the transfer.
but, of course, the conversion will be later when withdrawing to a ruble account. if you withdraw to the currency, then there will be no problem.
you can look at the rate in the internal conversion
, but Paypal has the "I won't hurt myself" rate,
prepare 20 bucks, three transactions and a calculator
and remember that another time the calculated may be wrong
