Where can I find documents on financial losses (profits) due to ui?

We need some kind of analytical document, with reliable information like:

  • Word users make one click more than they could, losing 400,000 man-hours per week, or $3,000,000 because of this
  • after changing the interface of the basket, the conversion increased by 5%, this is a profit of 4,000,000 per week (for large companies)
  • after changing the interface of the aircraft, the pilots began to make mistakes by 17% less and this saved the company $445,000

Want to convince a client or employer?
Be careful, if it's an employer, they can find statistics on employee efficiency gains when the internet is cut off.

Back in 2007, it was estimated that Google was missing out on $110 million in annual revenue because of the "I'm Feeling Lucky" button. As many as 1% of search queries are followed by clicking on it, after which the user is sent immediately to the site that Google would give out first for this query, bypassing the search results. No issuance - ads are not shown. The content of the button was comparable in cost to Google with free food for employees - it spent $ 72 million a year (2008 estimate).

I think there is no such document, all cases are individual and estimates are indirect. You need to experiment and process data.
You can calculate for yourself, for example, they reduced the load on computers in the office by 1/2 minute. Therefore, there are 100 people in the office with an average salary of 500 rubles per hour ... the company saves 100 * (1/2/60) * 500 * 22 = ~ 9167 per month, and 110 rubles per year, it’s scary to think how much you can save in a year (i.e. get extra work for that money)
