Where can I find a front-end designer for an open-source project?
I plan to make another open source password manager for desktop. Need a designer. Where to look?
---
Project: KeePass password manager.
There are no normal versions under Mac OS, so I decided to focus on it first of all. Then I plan to transfer to other platforms.
The current sketches are made in iojs (react+reflux+bootstrap).

Your description of the project does not sell it at all and says nothing.
To attract someone to the project, you need to “infect” the person with your idea.
To do this, write down:
- Why do you not like all other password managers. Describe your pain. You probably aren't the only one with this pain.
— How do you dream to see the project. How will he get rid of this pain? Tell us about your plans.
- Attach screenshots, or better yet, a link to a video about how your prototype works and how it looks now.
When a designer sees an interface, thoughts automatically arise in his head about where it is bad and how to improve it. And if the ideas have already arisen, then why not share them. Designers love pictures, but text descriptions don't work. Even drawing on paper works better than a few paragraphs of text.
Place this description in the readme of the project repository. So write "THE PROJECT IS LOOKING FOR A DESIGNER". Designers also climb on Github.
Make social posts networks. Colleagues may be interested. Ask for a repost.
On the Toaster, post specific questions under the appropriate tags. For example:
“Here is the main screen (screenshot), how to improve the interface?
More about the project [link to github, where there is a full description of the project and its goals].
PS project is looking for a designer"
Specific questions are easier to catch.
Didn't find what you were looking for?
