The task is to turn a person who works as a programmer's assistant and has a secondary education into a specialist who is able to seriously work and develop as a programmer. Where can one get a satisfactory mathematical base in Moscow in a short time (six months to a year)?
A necessary (but obviously insufficient) set of knowledge includes knowledge of at least definitions of concepts: function, limit, set, operation, Cartesian product, ring, field, GF (2), O (n), o (n), algorithm complexity, SKNF, SDNF, basic data structures and algorithms, the beginning of the theory of relational databases.
Where to send an employee for training?

Each concept you listed is included in separate courses: mathematical analysis, algebra, discrete mathematics, mathematical logic, programming, etc. For six months or a year, nothing normal will come of this employee.

Fields and _groups_ are in this list for what? This is by no means basic mathematical training ... I myself am a mathematician by education, and I will say that group algebra is, as it were, a rather rare and difficult part of what is called higher mathematics.
