Where can a developer learn the blind typing method in English. + characters ($;:&{})?

Actually, subject.
At one time, about 15 years ago, I studied blind typing on the Russian layout in the "Keyboard Solo" program, which of course is very useful and saved a lot of time.
Have you studied blind typing in English. layout, and if so, tell me some services or desktop software?
"Solo on the keyboard" has since been updated and supplemented. But maybe there is something better and more modern that will speed up learning?

No, I haven’t studied Russian either, but I type blindly and very quickly. Not as taught in "solo", there are special positions for the fingers, etc., just the fingers remember the layout. The more you type, the more this memory will be developed. You will simply imagine a letter in your mind, for example, "u", and then blindly press a key, and it will be that letter. For example, I typed this text blindly using this technique, and made only two random typos.
The conclusion is that the best way to learn blind typing is to practice the actual typing.

The keyboard solo is a full G, with all due respect to its creators.
Use VerseQ .
It has the ability to select the option for learning english.cpp for learning.
In this version, the proposed constructions are based on sets from various PLs (which is why it is called cpp) and gives tasks throughout the keyboard, including special characters.
I'm doing this right now and this is probably the only available option for this kind of task.
And the solo on the keyboard is full G, because initially the training approach itself is wrong.

I type blindly in both English and Russian at a speed of more than 300 characters per minute, with the wrong fingers (I’m not used to typing with my index and little fingers, thick fingers are only for a space). Just like Alexei wrote, you need practice, a lot of practice.
Just either erase the characters on the keyboard, or just try not to look at it at all, and use the poke method to look for the desired character. At first it will infuriate, but after a week there will be very few misses. Write a lot, in chats, code, just notes - then success is guaranteed.
But writing only code over time makes fast typing degrade a little, because. all sorts of hints, emmet, etc. make it possible to write less code.

I bought a clave on Ali without letters, without numbers, without everything, just clean keys. Sat down to work. I tried to remember where the sign is which letter. After 2 weeks I blindly typed Russian, English, all characters completely.
I spied on how to put fingers correctly in the "solo on the keyboard" prog.

Specialist. symbols will come. It is not interesting to write code on simulators.
Favorite service to practice Typing Cat . Turn on the typing test and go ahead to set records.

Online:
• vse10.ru - a set of lessons and tests. Free.
Offline:
• Stamina.ru - a set of lessons and tests. Free.
• Verseq.ru - self-learning algorithm, problematic letters and combinations will appear more often. Paid.
• mySimula - self-learning algorithm, problematic letters and combinations will drop out more often. Free.
I use Stamina + (Verseq/mySimula) + vse10 daily for ~20 minutes for self-exam.
I also recommend exploring the option of alternative hand positioning stamina.ru/keyboard_trainer/finger_layout
I liked the alternative "Yvam Told" more than the classic "Yvam Told" (already 5 years on Yvam Told), + no need to look for an ergonomic keyboard: after all, even on an ordinary straight clave, in the variant of the initial setting of hands on "Yvam Told", the hands lie at an angle → less tired wrists.

It came by itself, through games. A quick purchase or a desire to express the whole palette of emotions to teammates.

I studied from this book, and then I constantly forced myself to remember the location when I typed the code
... I don’t even know which is better ....
I think the main thing for a programmer
is to think correctly,
to keep attention on the task
, to do less monkey work.
Blind typing eats up a lot of attention at first.

I first mastered touch typing in Russian. With the help of Solo. This was in 2003.
Then in 2004 I mastered it in English with the help of the same Solo (there is a version for the English layout). I mastered blind in English many times faster, because you already know the basic principle - keep your index fingers on the "protrusions" on the F and J buttons.
The main thing is to keep your fingers right and return them to the right places, then just practice, write something in English.
