Where are user scripts faster - on Windows or on Linux?

Welcome all.
For example, there are Windows Server VPS and Ubuntu VPS with a graphical shell for the browser and a script in it using the GreaseMonkey extension. So, what do you think, in which operating system will the same script work faster? taking into account the fact that they are launched through this extension?
One more question. If you do not use GreaseMonkey to run the script on the site, then how and how can you speed up the work of the script, which, for example, when a new record appears on the page, does certain actions (for example, clicks on three buttons)?

Just try. Presumably in Linux, there will be less overhead of the system itself, which will give more resources to the script. But it still depends on what kind of script.
