Where are the logs going?
Hi everyone
syslog-ng is working. The auth.log records go every second. I changed the line in auth.log, the entries stopped going. Restarted a demon, records continue to flow. The behavior is clear, but the question arose:
where did the logs go after changing the line in auth.log and before restarting the daemon? In /dev/null?
