Where are the component parameters in Bitrix?
Do not kick, I'm just mastering Bitrix. Many manuals and documentation often mention that you need to change the parameters of the component. And screenshots are attached, where the parameters of any component (for example, a menu or a catalog) are visually changed. At the same time, I can’t find in the admin panel where I have these very parameters, instead I see only .parameters.php files that I can edit as php ... I’m looking somewhere in the wrong place or I don’t have something configured ?)

Well, the components must be connected on the page so that you can edit them.
From the public area in the top right corner, switch "Edit Mode" to "On".
And further, when you hover over the component, a frame in the form of a frame pops up and in the upper left corner of the frame, a menu appears from where you can call the component's properties.
In general, on the official site of Bitrix there is detailed documentation, with tests for assimilation. I recommend to read.

Start with "Content Manager" in order, if you are a developer don't jump right in, yes, looking at the dock, from the "Content Managers" section, you can say that you already know this, however, read each course to the end and pass test, if you could not pass, then you do not know the material or did not understand it.
