How to customize catalog.section?

Hello. Can you please tell me how to configure the catalog.section component to display all child elements of the section and subsection elements? A checkmark in the component settings does not help.
Links on the site in the format site.ru/#SECTION_ID#/#ELEMENT_ID#/
Here SECTION_ID is the id of the current category. I don't use section_code_path.
I can't find a solution anywhere.. I think that due to the fact that there is no path to parent categories in the url and elements from subsections are not displayed..
