When you start the computer, the coolers spin for a couple of seconds, after which it turns off, how to fix it?
Hello, I recently bought a new computer case, because the old one had to be changed for something, I’m starting to transfer components, since I’m doing it for the first time, it took me about an hour. After assembly, I launch - the processor cooler and video card spin at a very slow speed for about 3-5 seconds, there is no image on the monitor, after which they turn off.
I began to understand what the problem was, gradually disconnected the components, including RAM and googled along the way, but did not come to anything; reached the assembly: the motherboard is outside the case (to make sure that it does not touch it); power unit; processor and some cooling on it. power supply from the PSU is connected to the mat. board and processor, I turn it on - the result is the same, it turns on, the coolers work at low speed for a couple of seconds and turns off. The power is connected correctly, when the power is connected, the green indicator on the motherboard is on.
I called friends, sat for 4 hours, did not come to anything except to temporarily install a new motherboard while the problem was being fixed. I heard from one of my friends that it might be because I could touch the contacts on the mat with a screwdriver. board, because I did not remove the battery from it for the time of the rearrangement.
What I tried:
1. I put the power supply to another motherboard - it worked, the problem is not in the power supply
2. Mat. The board does not touch anything metal.
3. Just in case, I connected another PSU - the result is the same
4. I reassembled the components, added a hard drive and a video card to them (so that if you don’t start the OS, then look at what the monitor gives out), the result is the same.
Peculiarities:
1. When I connect the power supply to the motherboard after some time off, with some probability the red indicator lights up at startup, it was not possible to repeat with the video card and hard drive turned on.
What is the malfunction and how can it be fixed, is it worth trying at all?

I don't want to scare you, but are you sure that the motherboard is alive? Similar symptoms occur when the BIOS flies off the chip (and you need to reflash it in hardware). Or, as one of the options, the north bridge grunted.
In any case, it would be good to check the motherboard at the stand, or with a POST card (error reader), if someone has it on the farm.
1. reset the CMOS (bios)
2. connect the speaker, if it is not there, leave the percent in the motherboard, turn
it on when you turn it on, intermittent signals should go signals from the speaker, output: everything works.
3. then we put the memory and connect the monitor to the built-in video card (if any), if not, just turn it
on or there is an image, or a long and 2-3 short signals from the speaker (there is no video adapter), conclusion: everything works
4. connect the keyboard, mouse, we set up the bios ....
and so everything is slowly connected until you assemble the computer :-)
Try to take out the motherboard and run it on the table. you just need to put something that does not transmit electricity under the board.
leave - percent and RAM ... try to get a video signal)
In a similar problem, nothing helped. Battery replacement helped.
