When will there be a mobile application that will simply transfer the file to the PC desktop?
Of the solutions I found, the simplest was to use a cloud service with registration via SMS, installing a client, copying the file from the device to the cloud, then synchronizing and copying manually from the sync directory to the desktop.
Question: why can't I share it directly to the PC desktop within the home network in 2014?
Maybe I searched badly?

Android can go to network balls via wifi.
If you have an apple and mac, there is an airdrop.
But in general, I think that this is a rather rare case.
In devices, photos are mainly pulled, but they are still synchronized to the clouds.
You can also send a single photo by soap if you really want to.
