When updating PMTA, there are no /etc/pmta and other folders?

Faced the following problem.
PMTA version 5.0b1 was installed. We received an installer script for installing the latest version of PowerMTA 5.0r3.
Recommendation from the seller to install on a clean server (after deleting the old version).
Although earlier in the update instructions for version 4.5 it was indicated what to update to the installed version.
After restarting the script, it gives options for actions:

install pmta45 - PowerMTA 4.5r16 install
remove pmta45 - PowerMTA 4.5r16 uninstall
install pmta50 - PowerMTA 5.0r3 install
remove pmta50 - PowerMTA 5.0r3 uninstall
install pmc15 - Management Console 1.5r19 install
remove pmc15 - Management Console 1.5r19 uninstall

I run the script with the option remove pmta50 - PowerMTA 5.0r3 uninstall - I removed PMTA from the server I run the
script with the option install pmta50 - PowerMTA 5.0r3 install - the installation supposedly passed

Reboot between demolition and installation I don’t do it - it’s not desirable, other people work there, if it is necessary, it is possible, but not as an experiment.
It’s confusing in this situation that PowerMTA 5.0r3 uninstall is indicated and I demolished version 5.0b1 (but it probably doesn’t matter, the kernel is the only one, I’m not sure)

Upon completion of the installation, there is no cherished /etc/pmta folder - for filling the config and license, var folders /log/pmta and other /pmta are not
present The script was run as root. Maybe some permissions are missing? What might be missing?
yum update - did before the first run of the script

The seller rarely gets in touch, and does not always help. I don't have time to wait. But before there were no problems, we take the script from him not for the first time

Help solve the problem, what could be the matter?
What am I doing wrong? which way to look?
Why might the /etc/pmta, var/log/pmta and other folders not be created?
