When the laptop battery is low, a notification about cast hard sectors appears during boot. Why is that?
A year ago, the battery from the laptop was completely discharged and failed, but it was put in the socket and the laptop worked with it completely powered through the cord. Then the SMART error appeared when the system was started. I was told on the same site to change the hard drive because it woke up, and the hard drive is almost ten years old, Toshiba, I don’t remember the model. I ran checks on Everest, 86 and they did not reveal any damaged sectors. And what do you think? I didn’t buy a new hard, but I bought a new battery and a fan, because the old one died. And with a new battery, this error disappeared. That's how!
