When should you use models in django?

Good afternoon!
Help me understand why and when to use models in django if it can be done with template copy. For example, create tables of different categories if the same can be done in html.

Models are needed in order to simplify the interaction with the database.
Where are you going to get the data from? In html, you can specify static data that cannot be changed in real time.
Have you read anything about Django at all?
It feels like you learned about the models and immediately came to find out HERE what they are for, although Google is filled with this information for the most I don’t want to.
