When connecting to FTP, Visual Studio 2019 copies site files to the hard drive, how can I disable it?
The circle above the cursor is always spinning, I suspect that it copies files to the computer, at least in phpStorm by default it is.
Who knows what the problem is and how to disable this whole thing, or maybe this is not the difficulty. please help, it is not possible to work.

Apparently, you are engaged in website building?
Try uploading site files via ftp through a file manager and compare how much the speed differs from VS. I suspect it's not about VS.
