Asterisk
Araxis, 2019-09-16 13:36:54

What would you recommend to choose for organizing a PBX in an office (30 employees), a solution based on Asterisk or hardware?

Tasks:
There are 30 analog phones in the office, all of them need to be saved, including as external phones. But for the convenience of work, it is necessary to organize an automatic telephone exchange. Cables are now collected in 1 cabinet. The necessary wiring is there.
The expansion will probably be up to 40-50 phones, and then with a probability of 5%.
Connecting another (additional) operator and connecting to CRM Bitrix 24 with a probability of 75% will be.
Two options are being considered:
1) Asterisk + server + necessary gateways
2) Turnkey IP-PBX solution Agat UX-3710 Standart
Other options, such as forgetting numbers and switching to a virtual PBX, to IP telephony, or leaving 5 external and 25 internal are not considered.
Which option would you choose and why?

Asterisk.
Asterisk.
Asterisk!
Certainly not shit for 100k. It's better to raise Asterisk on some simple server, and get yourself a premium out of the saved money. It works, it's been tested (I'm talking about the premium, Aster too).

The input data is not enough and the picture is not complete.
In any case, it's better to immediately negotiate with your operator so that your numbers are brought already by e1 or sip. In any case, it is much more convenient and stable than using analog fxs\fxo, besides, you can organize a backup channel (in the case of sip, although you can negotiate with e1). Just believe what you need, just need.
If you have something in the role of a call center for everyone, then it’s better to immediately look at something like infinity call center where there is a good TP and a good sharpening for these cases, incl. Bitrix integration.
If there is more likely a hybrid connection (call center and internal), then feel free to take any iron implementation of the PBX for the internal. Those. relatively speaking, you can take some kind of Eltex TAU-XX and deploy internal telephony over copper to subscribers (if you already have wiring and analog devices) + critical devices by ip. Separately, something under the call center. Between themselves, respectively, knit atsky in sip.
You can also look in the direction of 3cx if you need to have a TP.
Regarding the asterisk \ friswitch, well, if you have a full-time admin \ telephonist who can quickly do \ raise \ maintain \ finish all this, then go ahead. A hand on heart without an adequate person who will support all this is not worth getting in touch with, besides, even if there is a person, but another one comes, then a new one hell will spend a lot of time to sort it all out and will even more likely say that there was a hand-cutter and everything needs to be redone from scratch .

Really little input. From the point of view of customization of the solution - of course Asterisk. It will be much easier to integrate with B24 and other third party systems. Analog devices can be connected via FXS gateways, and lines via FXO.
If you are not afraid of the lack of enterprise level support (SLA, etc.), but community support, then Asterisk is an excellent choice. By the way, you can calculate the requirements for the server, gateways and storage space using the calculator at the link:

The good thing about the box is that there will be support. But limited customization and flexibility.
