What would you recommend for encrypting the partition where Windows is installed?

All the best!
Once upon a time, TrueCrupt 7.1a was used to encrypt the entire Windows partition (with a fake OS).
But as you know, this project has long stopped. I found it on the net as an alternative / continuation of VeraCrypt .
Tell me, is it worthy of attention or do you recommend something else?
Requirements:
- Encryption of the entire partition where Windows 10
is installed - Fake OS (that is, if you enter the wrong password, a fake OS will be mounted)

It is necessary to understand from whom the author is defending himself. From a sucker - yes, it will work.
1) If specialists look at the disk, they will see a suspicious difference in the physical volume of the disk and the available space on the fake disk.
2) I don't imagine the algorithm yet. Symmetric cryptography does not store the key anywhere. Therefore, it is not yet possible for me to implement this choice of fake-non-fake. It's just that in the case of a crooked password, no OS will rise for you.
And storing a password for verification is contrary to what I wrote above.

1. veracrypt is actually the successor of truecrypt, it will even open volumes of truecrypt. But it's better to recreate.
2. "Fake OS (that is, if you enter the wrong password, a fake OS is mounted)"
there was no such thing in the trucrypt, and in general it does not seem to exist in cryptographic systems known to me.

I didn’t understand the password is entered in the BIOS, since “fake OS is being mounted” suggests that you have not reached the bootloader yet.
I think it's possible through if then ... but most likely it will be "Author 's BIOS / UIFI"
