What will be the reaction of buyers to javascript obfuscation in the template?

Hello. I ran into a problem - a template that I sell in copies, people bought from a pool and one of them resells it at half the price. I decided to do the following templates with a domain check and obfuscate the javascript file, which is responsible for the functionality of some parts of the template. I know that it is possible to get around this, but sloths who do not want to do anything but only receive money will not decipher the code.
So here is the question. I will not lose clients due to binding to a domain and obfuscation? How do they feel about it? Either it is more profitable for them, because. the template will not fall into the wrong hands?

I would not buy an obfuscated template, often independent improvements are required.
besides, obfuscation (not minimization!) slows down loading time.
for customers who are not programmers, of course, I don’t care.
and steal if they want to steal anyway. unpacking the obfuscated js is not difficult, removing the check too.
I advise you to make themes with support, that is, develop them, post updates periodically.
sloths and their clients will break off.

If you didn’t just sell templates, you could transfer part of the client logic to the server
