What will 60fps look like on a 144hz monitor?

Greetings.
I apologize for asking such a banal question and not bothering to google properly. If there is the same topic in Russian or English somewhere else, then please give a link to it and close the question.
In short, I decided to buy myself a new monitor to replace the old Samsung in 2010 and eventually came to a dilemma about hertz: if I buy myself a 144 hertz monitor and in games that require measured and smooth passage, I will set the refresh rate to 60hz or VSync, will it look the same as on a 60 Hz monitor, or will there still be a difference?
I understand that the question is not very smart and logic tells me that people with 100+ Hz monitors do not play Quake all the time and sometimes go to The Witcher or Assassin, but still I want to see confirmation from knowledgeable people.
ps
Hardware:
GTX 1070/ i7 8700k.

This means that you will buy a monitor capable of rendering 144 frames per second.
This means that you will force the monitor to draw 60 per second or, in the case of vertical synchronization, as many frames as the video card manages to calculate.

60 fps will look the same as on the old monitor, to see the extra hertz you obviously need more fps. If the computer is not super-powerful or you do not play games where you need a very high reaction speed, then there will be little sense from a 144-Hz monitor.

I recently bought an acer 144hz monitor. It's cool, grgs look like a cartoon, and yes, you will see 60 fps in the same way

There will be no difference. What's the point of setting it to 60 hertz? How many will give, so much and let it be. More - not less.
