Hello. I've been learning web development on my own for 3 years now. I thought for a long time about the tower and the expediency of obtaining it. As a result, I came to the conclusion that they won’t teach me anything there, but a crust as a privilege would be very useful (without a tower, salary is often cut not even in top companies, obtaining a work visa abroad, etc.) . Actually the question is where to enter in St. Petersburg and what specialty / department? Is distance learning possible?

As for web development, I have only heard about ITMO, and only if you got a job with them and with training. And there is only PHP. At least that was the case in the summer, I came for an interview. And they have government contracts, so well, such an experience.
Abroad, they are more interested in certification in certain technologies. Masters and Bachelors are appreciated, but only if you are already good and they have to choose from several candidates
