What topic to choose for CPD, where neural networks are used?

NPC is coming soon, I'm trying to find a topic related to neural networks that are very popular now. At first I wanted to make a system that learns to play chess, but I realized that it was too complicated, almost impossible. What other options are there?

What do you mean by "learning to play chess"? From scratch, without knowing the rules, with only a board in front of you, like in the experiment with Atari games? That is unlikely. But you can
