What to work with in C++ in Linux Mint?

I recently switched to the new Linux Mint 19 and I would like to know if it is possible to learn c ++ here in the same way as with Windows and is it worth it? Are there any IDEs or compilers for Linux Mint like Visual Studio or Code::Blocks?

No, learning C++ by acquiring bad habits of windows-only code will not work here.
Don't do that, just take QtCreator / Code::Blocks / Clion and explore the standard language features and cross-platform libraries.
