What to read to motivate users?
Hello!
I am developing an application based on reviews about organizations.
But I understand that developing this is a drop in the ocean, the main focus will be on attracting users and their active work, otherwise the application will die without even starting to work. Even if you properly promote the application wherever possible, users will still play a decisive role - they install the application or consider it unnecessary and pass by.
How to motivate users to download my application?
How to motivate them to leave reviews about organizations?

IMHO, the answer may lie in the planes: gamification and bonuses

Logically, at first it was necessary to decide whether anyone needed this application at all: whether users would download the application, whether they would leave reviews about organizations, and then write it ...
Ask yourself simple questions: Why do users need my app? What will they get out of using it? I don’t see any reason to put myself on the phone to leave a review about the store, since I can easily do it on social networks.
Even if your target audience will be all users of mobile devices, for the first version (mvp) you need to decide on a narrow niche of people. Since the behavior patterns of people leaving a review about a car wash and about a pizzeria will be different. Now there are "sea" services for reviews, so figure out why they have not yet "conquered the world" and try not to make their mistakes.
Personally, I think that their applications are not as convenient as users would like, precisely because they are designed for everyone, and here you need to approach them personally.
