What to read on modern vanilla JS?

Books, articles, whatever. Anticipate an answer about the official documentation, but still prefer a less dry approach. Without JQuery, Vue, Angular, React, but just a modern approach with let and const instead of the ubiquitous var, with async, promises, JSON, etc.
