What to pump to work as a system administrator?

Colleagues, my respect!
Enlighten, what resources to study, what to pump for employment as an administrator? Self-taught, I have experience in "administering" a home server on Win2k3, communication with Ubuntu, network, jabber, mail ... preferably options with a minimum investment of finances.

You can start with these articles.

In addition to the above, I propose to deepen knowledge in the OS:
- for Windows, pull up the asset directory and domain policy;
- for Linux, tighten the internal structure of the system, sockets;
- for networks to pull up tsisko-OS, and work with tsiska;
- raise security issues in networks;
- improve knowledge of sip telephony.
After studying each issue, subsequently devote more time to one or another area and become a great professional in it than in others. Since it is unlikely to be sprayed and know EVERYTHING, there is a lot of information. Well, either a lot, a lot, a lot of work for a very long time and earn your knowledge with experience, then you will be close to the know-it-all-monster admin who earns money and gets it in barrels and buckets!

I recommend watching Yandex lectures on this topic:

At one time they helped me a lot to structure knowledge in my head and understand what gaps to fill.

Be sure to learn how to work with existing infrastructure deployment solutions: puppet, chef, saltstack, ansible. And then think about what to learn to set up, and how ...

I was just thinking about a similar question the other day. I defined the following list for myself:
1. Win server (from the basics and deeper into the jungle)
2. Networking basics + Courses from CISCO + network security
3. Improve English
4. Linux servers.
So far, I'm watching courses from a "specialist", maybe they will also come in handy for you.
