What to look for when choosing a motherboard?

Such a moment. The old motherboard MSI 2008 of release has departed. She was old and much loved. I never even thought about replacing it before.
We now have a working power supply and hard drives.

Any advice on motherboard and processor for a typical office computer?
Is there a need for surfing the Internet and Win7 with the office in some kind of accelerators? Yes, another question about the OS, is Win10 required?
Do I need any special integrated graphics card?

I would like to collect it and not touch it for another ten years.

before the crisis with goods, for an office computer, I would choose machines based on mitx boards with an integrated intel processor (since other manufacturers usually built absolutely slag into such motherboards) and it was possible to assemble an office machine or a microserver for 12-13t.r.
the presence of integrated graphics for an office computer is now required solely based on the cost of discrete video cards, even the most shit will cost 5-6 tr. it makes no sense to pay for it
before buying, I advise you to look through the benchmarks for the selected processor, if cpubenchmark shows below 1000 in a single thread, then such a machine should not even be considered for surfing the Internet.
When choosing such machines, unfortunately gpu acceleration (viewing hd + video in the browser) can only adequately work in windows (and with some chances in android), this is done on purpose, this is also a RAM limit of 8GB - artificial, so that these good machines did not compete with other sectors where iron of similar capabilities is more expensive.
ps but now the store shelves are empty or filled with some kind of slag, sorry, everything is bought out, new iron is not being delivered

For an office computer, first of all, they usually look at the price.

if everything else is there,
then you can buy a good mother on Avito (I saw it for 1200 under 775, but if you have AM2-AM3,
then I would immediately switch to either 1155 or 1150,
which I did not so long ago, I bought a complete set for just 3200 :)
i3-3220 + 8 meters of RAM + mother asus with built-in hdmi output
I am not a gamer = I have enough
now and the video card can be sold,
i. it turns out that I updated my computer for 2 generations without loss
+ and I’ll throw off the card for 1.5-2tyr
my mother on P45 sold for 1500
prots was 2
c2d e8500 went for 500,
and I gave the 4-core xeon 5440 for 1000
+ ddr2 memory = expensive = 6gb sold for only 800

In order not to pull for 10 years, yes, you need win10 - the advantage is that the drivers are stable, work with devices is stable (ssd / new processes), most Windows devices find themselves and the integrated drivers work fine. In windows7, it was necessary to download and install 3-4 times more drivers.
It is useful that the motherboard has all the additional necessary connectors. For example, two m2 makes it much easier for me to move to a new ssd (every 3-5 years). It’s convenient for me that there were two ethernets on board to easily connect a backup link.
In general, it depends more on your use-case of an office computer.
