What to learn for remote work from scratch with no office prospects?

Good day.
I understand that the question in the title sounds standard. But there is a nuance.
I would like to freelance due to hearing loss, so going somewhere as a junior, gaining experience in the office is not a very good option for me. The main request is to become in demand on freelance exchanges.
What can you advise? What language or technology?
To start, I looked at the html layout - but in discussions they dissuade, arguing with millions of Indians (difficulty getting the first orders and rating).
Java Script? Is he in demand remotely? I don't see how interesting it could be. No office experience?
The author of the post is 35 years old. I would like to see a small development plan, so as not to waste time on unnecessary experiments.
I would be very grateful for advice.
Thank you.

Nothing. Well, in the sense nothing will work out :(
Huge, monstrous, incredible competition, which now, in connection with all this canoe, has only intensified. "Millions of Indians" is not a turnover, it is a reality. And not only Indians - millions of people plow in the web programming like macaques for a pack of doshirak. Are you sure you can bypass them despite the fact that you cannot communicate with the customer by voice? (And writing a text document is for some people a feat equal to the victory of Hercules over the Nemean Lion and the Lernaean Hydra combined - I know excellent specialists who are brilliant designers, but they will save in front of a three-line office).
But they don’t take juniors to remote work - how to control it and who will be responsible for the broken deadline? Although now, again, with all this terrible mess, maybe take...
If you are in the Russian Federation - contact the employment service. There is such a thing as a disability quota for employers.

Firstly, you need to decide whether remote work or freelance work is different. Secondly, in any scenario in web programming, you need to know at least html, css, js, sql and some kind of backend language. And to know them better than millions of Indians.
