What to learn after layout?

I mastered the layout, made up a couple of one-page sites and got a little stupor.

Where to go next if the frontend is interesting? JS and all? it's just that there are also frameworks and a bunch of everything, eyes run wide.

Making up a couple of pages is only the beginning of the journey.
Keep typing further, explore other topics:
Preprocessors, gulp, adaptive, fluid layout, flexbox, grid, BEM - a great springboard to learn.
In total, type at least 20 layouts, try working with Figma, photoshop, and so on.
In parallel, you can dilute the study of JS, only pure JS, not a framework and not Jquery, and so on.
For example, start going through this and from beginning to end.
