What to install antivirus and firewall in WinXP?

Tell me what good enough modern and powerful antiviruses will be now, as well as firewalls for Windows XP SP3?

Dr.Web still supports Windows XP for some reason: https://download.drweb.ru/security_space/
But an antivirus on a dead system is unlikely to really increase your security.

If we talk about antivirus and firewall in general, then definitely Comodo CIS with HIPS enabled.
Here you need to understand that the cornerstone is still signatures and heuristics, which do not really change - it is enough to have an up-to-date signature database, and not the latest version of the software. CIS with HIPS will ask permission for every sneeze. This will prevent attacks if you have something to fear and the fears are not far-fetched.
Indeed, in 95% of cases, it is enough to simply disable autorun in the system and not download any nonsense from dubious sources! For all the "viruses" that you find in the same 95% of cases will turn out to be completely harmless keygens and cracks.
Over the past 10 years, I really needed an antivirus only once: when I decided to play hackir and pumped up crypters outside the virtual machine, one of which turned out to be a virus. So draw conclusions about how real the "threat" is.
