What to do with OS?

I have windows 7 pro. Yesterday the update was installed, after which I tried to set the normal resolution for two hours (or tried to return the old one). I could not stand it, because whatever one may say. either the letters are unreadable, or the tabs in the browser are all identical (favicons are not visible). I could not stand it and rolled back the system until the update was installed. After that, when the OS boots, after the inscription "Starting Windows" for a fraction of a second, the death screen (blue screen) appears and the computer reboots. I can’t find safe mode, because it says “Run Startup Repair (recommended)” (but it doesn’t help at all) and Windows Normal Boot. I couldn’t stand it and I’m already installing Linux on my flash drive, but the customer needs to hand over the project today, and at least I need to download it right now. And yes, it is not only necessary to pass it, but to finish. There is no time to reinstall OS and software. Who will advise what?

What's with the iron? If there is integrated video and there is a second video card, try running on integrated video.
