What to do if the sound suddenly disappeared on the laptop (Win 10), but external speakers work?

Lost sound on Asus laptop. The internal speakers have stopped working. Everything is fine with the drivers. I think because of the audio card, but there is sound with external speakers. How can this problem be solved?
